Beginnings
Inspired by the great response to the teleclasses I’ve been hosting, I am launching ManifestingYourLife.com. The goal of this venture is to help others become more knowledgeable of the Law of Attraction and their spirituality. Also to explore how LoA and Christianity connect.
On this exploration I will endeavor to communicate with you every step of the way. This blog will be one tool that I will be using to effectively do that. I will also use my subscriber list to communicate the steps, findings, and conclusions I uncover on my journey.
Another way of communicating all of this will be through a series of books I have planned. The first will be about the Laws of the Harvest and will be entitled, “The 7 Laws of the Harvest, Your Mind and Their Effect On Your Life.†Give me some feedback on that title in the comment section.
As I traverse the spiritual realm I will also take a look into Quantum Physics and see just how it explains these Laws in the scientific realm. You see, everything is connected. It all comes from one place. Some call that place God. Others refer to it as The Universe, Source, Higher Self, and so on. It’s all the same; God is all of this and more.
So I will also be studying Christianity, and applying what I learn to the Law of Attraction and the Laws of the Harvest. I have already seen many similarities in these two Laws, and I will explore those similarities and report on my findings.
For the past several years, I have already been on a journey. One that has brought me to where I am today. I decided to go to college and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, and set off to become a copywriter. As I learned about copywriting, this brought me into contact with a several wonderful people. And as a result I have learned many things that will aid me in this new venture.
One of those people was Sandy Gardner, the Marketing Director for the book, Law of Attraction by Michael J. Losier. We spent several hours on the phone together as I learned about LoA. I started to put into practice what I had learned with limited desired results, but I knew in my heart there was truth in LoA.
Then through a mentoring group I was involved in, I met another great person, Enigma Valdez. Enigma directed me to a website about “The Secret.†The website was about a film that was to be released in late February, 2006. Since Enigma had recommended this site to me, I subscribed to their list to be notified when the movie was released.
I received the notice that it was released, went to the website a couple of days later, and watched the movie. It had a profound effect on me. I immediately ordered the DVD and was told it would be a few weeks before it was shipped due to overwhelming response.
It finally arrived and I watched it again. Then again, and again. I had my wife watch it and she saw where what they were explaining about the Law of Attraction had truth to it. But, I still was in disarray and struggled to effectively deliberately use LoA for positive change.
As I struggled with this I began to get discouraged, went into a tailspin, and headed back down the path of depression. Then I get a call from a friend and we talked on the phone for a bit and finally asked me, “What is it that you are attracting?†Oh man, talk about a slap in the face. And it was something I truly needed.
So I watched “The Secret†again. And this time it had an even greater effect on me. I set out to introduce others to “The Secret†and the Law of Attraction. I came up with an offer to let 10 people watch the movie and I would pay for them to watch it. I then announced it to a Yahoo group that I was a member of, and is owned by Beth Erickson. I had several people take me up on my offer, but not all ten spots had been claimed. So I announced it again, and this time the rest of the spots were taken. So I had shelled out $50 for 10 people to see it. I had also bought the DVD for two others, one a lady I had just recently met through Beth’s group, and another that I met through the mentoring program.
While all of this was going on, another lady had posted to Beth’s group that everyone should see this movie. She had seen it and it had made a big impact on her and had changed her life. We corresponded through email a few times then started talking on the phone. Her name is Melissa Miller and she came up with the idea to create a Yahoo group for people that had seen the movie.
So she created the group, I became co-moderator, and we started inviting the people I had paid for to see the movie and we began growing. After we got several members the idea of having teleconferences was born, and I began hosting them. First it was only for the group, but then I started to think that we should open this up for other people so they could get the info too.
And that brings me to where I am today, helping others to benefit from using the Law of Attraction deliberately for positive change in their lives. As I stated before, this has even led me to be inspired to write a series of books. I’ve started working on the first one and am researching the info for it now. I’ve actually started writing the book too as the words, phrases, and sentences have been streaming through me. I fell blessed and am in awe of what is happening.
So, I figured in my first post to this blog, I would explain how I got to where I am now to give you a peek at my journey thus far, and to let you see how far I still have to go.
